The Office of Institutional Research (IR) reports to the Senior Vice President, Academic and Student Affairs, Workforce Development. IR provides data and analytical support campus-wide for administrators, deans, and chairs, faculty and staff. Project support includes program review, grant applications, the annual report, various internal projects, ad hoc reports, and survey administration.

IR is the source of official data for the College. IR is responsible for compliance reporting to the Ohio Department of Higher Education’s Higher Education Information (HEI) system, and the Federal Government’s Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS). IR focuses on providing accurate data, with the highest level of integrity, confidentiality and customer service. The Coordinator of IR also serves as the chair of the Institutional Review Board (IRB).


The Institutional Review Board (IRB) is an administrative body established to protect the rights and welfare of human subjects recruited to participate in a research study conducted under the auspices of the institution with which it is affiliated. The role of the IRB is to ensure the protection of human participants in a research study.
