Faith-Based Absences

Rhodes State College is committed to students’ freedom to practice their sincerely held religious beliefs. The Faith-Based Absences Policy ensures that students have alternative accommodations for up to three faith-based absences per semester. Students must submit their absence notifications within 14 days of the first day of instruction using the Faith-Based Absences instructions in Canvas. Instructors will work with students to schedule a time and date for an alternative exam or academic requirement, which may be before or after the original exam or requirement, without penalty.

Religious Holidays/Holy Days
