Overview
The Rhodes State College Prescription Mapping Certificate will provide students with the skills in prescription mapping to support and operate precision field equipment. Students will learn to collect, securely move, and evaluate quality data across multiple platforms. Students will be prepared to troubleshoot, repair and install precision equipment in a variety of applications.
Degree Pathway
Students can choose a pathway in either Prescription Mapping or Robotics with Artificial Intelligence in the second year of the Agriculture Associates degree program. The first-year students will learn fundamental Agronomy and Agriculture Business aspects to provide a foundation for their second-year of the curriculum.

Selling Points
- According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median annual wage for agriculture professionals was $50,000 in 2020.
- Northwest Ohio farms are adopting these techniques at an increasing rate and everyone needs a well-trained technician to provide support. Either on the home farm or for a local precision provider.
- Agricultural records, data and information management needs are increasing and technicians trained in the technology areas are needed.
