Network Security Certificate Overview
Students who enroll in the Network Security certificate program develop an in-demand skillset for the emerging field of information technology security. Students will be able to managing information security programs, preserve and protect information, manage risk, ensure data and system integrity, availability, authenticity, and utility.
The Network Security certificate program builds a foundation on security concepts, principles, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures in which the highly experienced and industry knowledgeable faculty continually engage. Students have access to a Netlab virtualized environment providing hands-on access to labs inside or outside the classroom and are guided toward numerous industry certifications. (Microsoft, Cisco, Red Hat, Palo Alto, CompTIA).
Scholarship Opportunity
Rhodes State has been awarded a Choose Ohio First (COF) Scholarship grant by the Ohio Department of Higher Education. The grant provides scholarships to students majoring in disciplines that significantly strengthen Ohio’s competitiveness in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, and Medicine (STEMM) education and industry.
