LIMA, Ohio, July 16, 2025 – The Rhodes State College Foundation will host the 26th Annual Tee Off for Scholarships on Friday, September 19, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start at Colonial Golfers Club, 10985 State Route 309. This signature event is the largest fundraiser for the Rhodes State Scholarship—the College’s most widely awarded and impactful scholarship. This year alone, 54 students will benefit from this scholarship as they pursue their educational goals.
Proceeds from the Tee Off directly support student scholarships, providing essential resources for Rhodes State students, many of whom juggle academics while working and caring for their families. Scholarships like these often make the difference between a student continuing their education and putting it on hold.
“I’m very grateful to receive this scholarship so I can pursue my education at Rhodes State College,” said Marley Kindle, a current Rhodes State Scholarship recipient. “It eases my worries heading into college and allows me to focus fully on my studies. This scholarship will help me and my family tremendously, and I am very thankful.”
The Tee Off is currently accepting team and sponsorship registrations. Community members, businesses, and organizations are invited to support students by registering at www.rhodesstate.edu/teeoff.
Over the past 26 years, the Foundation has awarded 3,178 scholarships totaling more than $3.1 million, with $760,000 raised through the Tee Off alone. Each year, these scholarships continue to transform lives and open doors to opportunity.
Join us on September 19th—play a round, change a life.
