Rhodes State College Seeks Outstanding Alumni Nominations

Nominations are open through February 16 for the Rhodes State College 2023 Outstanding Alumni Award (OAA) and Circle of Excellence.  Community members are encouraged to nominate graduates of Rhodes State College or Lima Technical College who bring credit to themselves and the College through distinguished accomplishments. The Outstanding Alumni Award recipient will be honored through a named Outstanding Alumni Scholarship. Both the OAA winner and the Circle of Excellence inductees will be recognized at the Rhodes State College Commencement in May 2023.

The 2022 award class included:

Outstanding Alumni Award –

Dr. Ann J. Pohl, Nursing (1995) & Respiratory Care (1987), Vice President of Patient Care and Chief Nursing Executive at Lima Memorial Health System.

Circle of Excellence Inductees –

Joy D. Bischoff, Nursing (1995), President, OhioHealth-Hardin Memorial/Chief Nursing Officer, OhioHealth-Marion General Hospital and Hardin Memorial Hospital

Wes R. Barnt, Radiologic Technology (1985), Vice President of Ancillary Services, Midland Memorial Hospital, Texas

Josette R. Brinkman, Computer and Media Technology (1999), Owner, FastSigns of Findlay
