The 2021 Spencerville Bearcats Junior High Softball Team Makes Donation to The SHOP at Rhodes State

The 2021 Spencerville Bearcats Junior High softball team, Tuesday night 5/4 with all the items they had collected for donation to the local Spencerville Food Pantry and the SHOP at Rhodes State College.  They far surpassed the goal we had set as a team, and did an outstanding job in doing something that will help many people not only in Spencerville, but also many Rhodes State College students who might be struggling and are in need.  It has been an honor and pleasure to get to coach these girls this season, and watch them make a positive impact on their community.

The players in the front row (Left to right):  Kailey Lacy, Lyric Sargent, Kyndra Salyers, Lyle Hurst, Lorelai Layman, Emma Huebner, Allison Post, Chevy Johnson, Naomi O'neill, Emma Clark, Rachel Ringwald.

Back row (L to R): Lynsey Rowland, Kyleigh Foust, Miracle Hamilton, Hannah Stirn, Haley Hittle, Coach Chuck Mulholland, Eden Huffman, Andrea Shaw, Kelsey Lee, Nevaeh Grigsby.

"We did not have the Win/Loss record we would have liked, but having the girls collect items for donation was a very positive experience, and it is something I hope they remember.  They are making positive impacts on their local community in Spencerville, but also helping Rhodes State College better serve their student community and make a difference in many lives."

The team is coached by Chuck Mulholland, who when not coaching the Lady Bearcats, also serves as an Assistant Professor and Clinical Education Coordinator in the Respiratory Care program in the Health Sciences Division at Rhodes State College
