With the Programmable Controllers certificate, students will be trained to install, maintain, and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). These controllers are the computers used in industry to control manufacturing equipment, and skills with PLCs are in high-demand.

Programmable Controllers Certificate Overview

The 19 credit hour Programmable Controllers certificate program includes courses such as Circuit Analysis, Digital Circuits, Basic Robotics and Mechatronics, Technical Math, Programmable Logic Controllers, and Fluid Power. Credits achieved in this short-term certificate can also be apply to an associate’s degree in Electronic Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology, and Advanced Manufacturing Technology.
