Digital Media Technology

The Digital Media Technology degree is for the creative person who is interested in expressing themselves through digital technology. Students will also gain technical experience in web design, video production, graphic design, and new media. Software and concepts studied are focused on meeting the needs of the current marketplace.

Digital Media Technology Certificate Overview

Students will learn many Adobe software programs that are used in the industry. Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, InDesign, After Effects, and Animate to name a few. Other focuses will be in HTML5/CSS, programming, script writing, virtual reality, working with drones for video recording, and 3d modeling/animation. Students are able to choose a path of digital marketing or web page programming, which both utilize the software for similar purposes but in different mediums.

  • Students will be working with iMac computers
  • Industry standard software like Adobe is used
  • Students will be designing and creating actual digital media productions that are relative to the current marketplace.
  • Students apply these skills in an internship
