Rhodes State College Honors Apprentices at GROB Systems, Inc.

In honor of National Apprenticeship Week, Rhodes State College, together with its partner GROB Systems, Inc., recognized 34 apprentices at GROB yesterday, November 18, 2021. The apprentices have completed the required on-the-job training hours to be qualified as a journeyperson Industrial Machinist System Technician. Certificates of completion of their apprenticeship were issued by the Ohio State Apprenticeship Council at today’s ceremony.

GROB Systems, Inc. offers an Apprenticeship Program that features on-the-job training, a hands-on learning environment, and a company-paid college degree. This combination of training and education helps their apprentices become valuable members of a highly-skilled workforce. The program is designed to prepare students for technician-level jobs within GROB, including working in the world of robotics, CNC machines, assembly and test equipment, and the total flexible manufacturing network.
