Rhodes State Participating in Ohio Second Chance Grant Program

Rhodes State College invites Ohioans who started college but did not finish with a bachelor’s degree to take a second chance at their education through the Second Chance Grant offered by the Ohio Department of Higher Education.

The award is up to $2,000 toward tuition for re-enrolled students, which will be applied to the cost of attendance after all need-based federal and state grants have been applied. Any resident of Ohio who stopped attending college before earning a bachelor’s degree between the summer of 2015 and the summer of 2020 may be eligible. Grants are to be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for Spring Semester 2022. The limit for this program is $3 million and grants will be awarded on a rolling basis until funds are exhausted.
