Interview Prep Etiquette Lunch | Rhodes State College
Rhodes State College and The Ohio State University at Lima are co-hosting Dine and Shine, an interview prep etiquette lunch, on Wednesday, November 4, from 12:40 to 1:40 p.m. The event takes place in Room 165 of the Life and Physical Sciences Building on Main Campus. Students are invited to enjoy a free lunch while building professional skills.
Interview Prep Etiquette Lunch Details
This event pairs a free Thanksgiving-style lunch with practical guidance on interview and dining etiquette. So while you eat, you’ll also pick up tips on how to make a strong impression, both across a desk and across a table. It’s a relaxed, low-pressure way to sharpen skills you’ll actually use.
What You’ll Learn
Attendees can expect a mix of interview preparation and table etiquette guidance, all wrapped into one lunch hour. For example, you might learn how to answer tough interview questions, or which fork to use first at a formal meal. Both skills matter once you’re sitting across from a hiring manager, whether the conversation happens over coffee or a full meal.
Why Attend
Confidence matters just as much as qualifications when it comes to interviews. This interview prep etiquette lunch gives you a fun, no-pressure way to practice those skills before it counts. If you’d like extra support beforehand, reach out to Career Development for additional interview coaching.
