Sleep Technologist Overview

Rhodes State provides excellence in training through the Sleep Technologist certificate program, because the study of sleep disorders (Polysomnography) is a rapidly growing diagnostic area. Coursework in the program includes online and clinical instruction as well as clinical practice at free-standing and hospital-based sleep laboratories. This practice is required for students to be awarded a certificate of completion and be eligible to register for and attempt national credentialing examinations such as the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) for the RPGST and the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) for the RRTSDS.
