One of the most complex and important financial events is the purchase or sale of a home or investment property. As a result, people usually seek the help of real estate brokers and sales agents when buying or selling real estate. Real estate brokers and sales agents have a thorough knowledge of the real estate market in their community.
The coursework that comprise this certificate provide the students with the 120 hours of education required by the state prior to sitting for the Sales Real Estate License exam. These classes emphasize knowledge regarding the general theory of real estate, real estate laws, real estate finance and real estate appraisal that prospective real estate professionals must be familiar.

I completed Rhodes’ Real Estate classes Summer Quarter of 2006 and immediately passed the Ohio Real Estate Exam. In 2008 I received the Ohio Association of Realtors President’s Club awarded for achieving over $1 Million Dollars in personal Real Estate sales. Not only did I learn the material needed to pass the Ohio State Exam, but the teaching staff at Rhodes gave me the real world knowledge needed to become a successful realtor. I’m grateful for being able to complete evening classes in my own home town. Thank you Rhodes!

|I can speak very highly of the quality of education I received. The college’s willingness to work with me to schedule my classes speaks volumes about Rhodes State. I could not have been more pleased with the way things went. It was amazing how easy it was to get in contact with my instructors if I had a question. If you needed something they bent over backwards.
