Exercise Science Expo in action June 22 at Rhodes State

LIMA (June 14, 2016) – Rhodes State College, 4240 Campus Drive, is launching the 2016 Exercise Science Expo on Wednesday, June 22, from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Tech Education Lab. The event is free and open to the public.

Attendees will learn more about the exciting world of personal training through hands-on experience at activity stations and one-on-one conversation with Rhodes State Exercise Science students.

“The Exercise Science Expo is designed with the unsure student in mind. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet faculty and students enrolled in the program,” says Amanda Beard, Exercise Science Program Director. “It’s the chance to not only observe, but to become a part of the hands-on lessons and determine if Exercise Science matches your strengths and career goals.”

One-Stop registration will be available for fall classes, including for courses that lead to an Associates degree in Exercise Science, the first step toward a four-year degree in Sports Medicine. The first 15 participants will receive an exercise science swag bag.

Media are invited to speak with demonstrators and photograph them in action from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
