Basic Pathways

Basic certification is an introduction to advanced manufacturing. Students receive basic training in integrated systems, math & measurement, communication and teamwork, while learning manufacturing terms and processes, safety and other workplace skills. Students in this program also create or upgrade their resumés and complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for any college/career center coursework they may pursue in the future. Persons who already possess these skills through manufacturing experience have the opportunity to test out to earn Basic certification. Persons with no manufacturing background may take the 40-hour course and receive personalized attention to improve their basic skills and earn certification.

Date: November 1, 3, 8 and 10, 2016
