When to See Your Academic Advisor

It is important that you meet with an academic advisor at least once prior to beginning your studies at Rhodes. Your advisor will discuss your plans and map out coursework for you to take in future terms to ensure you stay on track with your educational goals. You can schedule an appointment to meet with your advisor quarterly, if you feel you need the support, however this is not required. It is recommended that you see your advisor when:

  1. You have questions about your program(s)
  2. You have questions about your class schedule
  3. You need help identifying classes to take for the next term
  4. You need information regarding certificate options
  5. You require assistance in changing or adding a major
  6. You need information regarding your health qualification status
  7. You have GPA questions
  8. You need to locate academic support services
