Allied Health and Nursing Qualification

Both the Allied Health and Nursing Divisions require students to satisfy specific academic criteria in order to be considered for a seat in one of their programs. Students are considered “qualified” once all criteria have been completed satisfactorily. Criteria differs from program to program, therefore, it is important for students to consult with their academic advisors at orientation and/or in individual advising sessions to review the qualification requirements for the program they want to enter.

General information that applies to all majors with regard to qualification are:
1. Once students have completed all qualification criteria, their names are placed on a list, per major, of students desiring entry.
2. Students are sorted on the list chronologically using the date they completed the last qualification requirement for the program of instruction they have chosen.
