Phi Theta Kappa

Phi Theta Kappa is the world’s oldest and largest honorary society for two year colleges.  Membership is open to any Rhodes State College student who is completing his or her first year of full-time course work at Rhodes State College, and who has a 3.5 grade point average or above.  To obtain an application, contact Sue Musto in Galvin Hall 222 (8-282).

Phi Theta Kappa All-Ohio Team

The Phi Theta Kappa All-Ohio Team consists of the top 2% of two-year college students in Ohio.  Each May, Rhodes State College inducts two students onto this team.  These two students receive a recognition at a banquet held in Columbus and also may qualify to compete for the All-American Phi Theta Kappa team.  Interested students must meet these requirements:

1.        At least 48 credit hours (quarter system) of completed course work at Rhodes State College.

2.       A G.P.A. of 3.5 or above.

3.       Evidence of campus and/or community service.

Note: You do NOT have to be a member of Phi Theta Kappa to apply for this honor.  If you are interested, contact the Chairperson of your program, as well as Tom Beery (8-291) or Sean Lause (8-374).

Applications must be completed by November 10th.
