Solutions, etc… is the business and industry training division at Rhodes State College. Solutions project coordinators specialize in arranging educational opportunities, coordinating training workshops and performing consultative services for many focus areas. Solutions schedules a variety of general offerings that are open for attendance by the public. Most offerings feature hands-on learning techniques and are provided in short-term segments. James A. Rhodes State College Foundation was founded in 1978 as a non-profit corporation to assist in the promotion of the College. Established in recognition of the need to forge public and private partnerships, it adds financial support to the College’s other sources of funding. The West Central Ohio Manufacturing Consortium (WCOMC) provides training and job placement opportunities to manufacturers in the region. Persons who successfully complete any of the three pathways in the program – Basic, Intermediate or Advanced – are guaranteed a referral for employment to WCOMC members. In addition, the WCOMC provides its manufacturer-members access to classes at Rhodes State College at substantial savings for their incumbent workforce through the Endeavor program.
