Student To Do's

Complete the following activities before the quarter starts or during the first 2 days of the quarter

	Pick up textbook, materials, and course information packet from the bookstore.
	Pick up videotapes, CD-Roms, or DVDs from Center, TL 138-B
	Familiarize yourself with the Distance Learning Center Testing Hours.
	Email your instructor, ________________________, or call 419-995-_______ and verify with your instructor the following.  Make sure you know the answer to these questions:
	What are the due dates for assignments?
	What are the test dates of all tests?
	In what room and building will the tests be administered?
	How should my assignments be turned in? email? fax? mail? in person?
	How will my assignments be returned to me? email? in person? in the Center?
	Will my tests be returned to me? mail? in person? in the Center?
	How can I review my tests?
	What is the best time to contact my instructor? _____ day of the week _____ time of day
	What method of contact does my instructor prefer? phone? email? in person? mail?
	Who do I call if I have an emergency and can't take a test or miss an assignment?
	Review the syllabus, welcome letter, or other materials sent from your instructor.

Each week of the quarter:

• Turn in assignments and homework weekly.
• Take all tests on time.
• Ask instructor for assistance with any assignments which may be difficult to understand if necessary.
• Save this check off sheet and ALL communications with my instructor.
