PROCEDURE FOR SUBMITTING REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE:

  • Complete form, Click Submit. It will be send to Jill Gear at PS 227.
  • Request for grant writing assistance will be reviewed for approval.
  • You will receive approval or denial for assistance within 2 weeks of your request.
  • A timeline will be established depending on the funding source and grant requirements.
  • If grant idea is approved administrator of grant will be asked to supply documentation to write grant, and participate in the grant writing process as part of a team effort.

AREAS GRANT WRITER WILL ASSIST:

  • Consult with faculty/staff on grant ideas.
  • Research the best funding source(s) for projects.
  • Research material that will be used in grant proposals.
  • Search for potential grants using the Web and other sources.
  • Act as part of the “grant writing team” to ensure that the grant is ready for submission.

GRANT ADMINISTRATOR-A faculty or staff member who will be a responsible part of the grant-writing team, collect data and research documentation. If the grant is funded the grant administrator will be in charge of all aspects of the grant, including any reports that need to be sent to granting agency.
