
Demographics - name, address, phone, email (only if you check it daily)
Academic Preparation - name of college, name of major(s), graduation date (include graduation date as month and year if you are within a school year of graduating; if you are seeking summer or part-time employment in your first year of college, then it’s okay to say “anticipated June 20--”)
Internships, practicum, clinical experiences, Capstone courses or class projects that demonstrate an application of your knowledge and skills
Special training relating to your major/degree/job objective
Special Skills/Computer Experience - special skills that relate to your objective or that make you unique from other similar majors (e.g.: fluent in Spanish)
Employment History - usually is a must, but if you have a number of clinical or related experience entries, employment history not related to your major may not get included. This is an important item to discuss with your Placement Director.
References - only if you are creating a reference file in the Office of Career Services; otherwise, you do not need to say “available upon request”. If you are a job seeker, everyone knows you will have to make them available if called upon to do so.
