A resume is the first impression that an employer has of you as a job candidate. Many decisions will be made about you based purely on your resume. Everything about your resume tells the employer about how you conduct yourself…do you make the extra effort… are you quality-conscience…how prepared are you for the job you seek…are you professional in your efforts? A resume lacking order, readability, pertinent information, focus and perfection in presentation will definitely NOT get you an interview.
It is important that your resume clearly defines what skills, abilities and experience you are bringing to the potential position. It is not the employer’s job to read and interpret your objective or potential use for the company, they expect to see what your objective/focus is for your job search.
