Important Campus Information

The Technical Education Laboratory (TL) is currently undergoing major renovations to better serve the needs of our students. Because of these renovations, the labs and offices located in TL will be temporarily moved throughout the campus. In an effort to make sure your Fall Quarter is a little less hectic, we wanted to share with you some important information.

Check our website for the latest information on the Tech Edu renovations and look for the relocations of labs and offices.

Plan Ahead - Parking on Campus

Fall Quarter at Rhodes State starts next week and the faculty and staff are looking forward to seeing you! Parking and getting to classes on time during the first few days of the quarter can be quite challenging.

During the first two weeks of Fall Quarter, you may anticipate heavy demand for parking and possible delays on Campus Drive, Mumaugh Road and State Route 309 due to traffic congestion. To prepare for this, Campus Safety and Security wishes to provide you with the following information:

  • During the first two weeks of school, if you arrive between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday-Thursday, you are strongly recommended to arrive on campus a minimum of 15-30 minutes before your scheduled class. This will allow you time to find a parking space.
  • For your safety, officers will be directing traffic in order to maintain traffic flow. Be on alert for uniformed officers to assist you.
  • In anticipation of the increased demand for parking, temporary overflow parking will be available in designated grass areas. These areas will only be opened when all other parking has been utilized.

Remember–give yourself enough time to get to campus and your class. Should you have any questions, please contact Safety and Security at 419-995-8499 or 419-995-8067.
