Student Guide to Accommodative Services

Accommodative Services (AS) maintains records of your disability according to the guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Your Accommodative Services records are kept in Accommodative Services; these records are separate from your academic records which are maintained elsewhere in the College (Records and/or appropriate academic unit). Records received by AS that contain information unrelated to the determination and provision of accommodations, auxiliary aids, and services will be destroyed. Information retained by AS will be used to determine and provide accommodations. You may request a copy of your AS records in person and a valid, government issued photo identification is required.
