Laboratory Science Technology Overview

The curriculum has a strong foundation in chemistry and biology and was developed primarily from an industry perspective to prepare students for employment in a broad range of fields, including chemical, biological, environmental, industrial, and food analysis. The curriculum includes field experience to develop hands-on skills in a laboratory setting. The degree concentration not only prepares the student for immediate employment, but can also transfer smoothly to universities to continue toward a bachelor’s degree.
