The Office Administration, Associate Degree program at Rhodes State College develops skills needed to competently and professionally contribute in the office environment. These include skills ranging from traditional document development and editing to contemporary interpersonal, team-working knowledge. In today’s office, oftentimes, these skills are being demonstrated through technologies that are continually changing. These technologies are utilized through advanced instruction in word processing and desktop publishing and through electronic presentations, spreadsheets and database programs. The program offers three tracks—medical, executive, and office manager—each with its distinct focus on a specific area of the office environment.
