Computer Numerical Control Certificate

Gainful Employment Disclosure: Computer Numerical Control

Students completing the Computer Numerically Controlled (CNC) Certificate have the skills to operate and program CNC Lathes and Mills. Students completing this certificate learn to program manually using M and G Codes and using MasterCAM.

All students successfully completing the Manufacturing Engineering Technology (also known as Flexible Manufacturing Systems - FMS) degree are eligible for this certificate if OET 1100 – Operations Management is included in their coursework. Students completing the Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) degree only need to take FMS 2220 CAM/CNC Machining II and OET 1100 to gain this certificate.

Applications for this certificate can be obtained in the Division of IT/ET Office (JJC 102). Please do not apply for a certificate until you have completed all required courses with a grade of “C” or better.
