The expansion of the Countryman building was a 16,000 sq. ft. addition at a cost of approximately $3.2 million. The addition included classrooms, administrative/faculty office space and student soft space and opened December 2012.
Keese Hall is getting an additional 6,000 sq. ft. to include a multipurpose space for large events. The area will be to the south of the existing structure. Keese Hall currently houses Office of the President, Academic Affairs, Workforce and Economic Development, video conferencing, open computer labs, classrooms and faculty offices. The project began last spring and is slated to open December 2013.
In response to continued enrollment growth, Rhodes State College continues to pursue its vision of building a Center for Medical Innovation in Education in downtown Lima. Future planning and collaborative efforts with the internal and external communities will take place.
