Rhodes State College Foundation Scholarship Information
Part of the mission of the Rhodes State College Foundation is offering scholarships to eligible students at Rhodes State College. By fulfilling this goal, we contribute to making a quality education more accessible and affordable to our current and potential students. We also fulfill the wishes of those who have had the foresight to endow scholarships.
All scholarships administered by the Rhodes State College Foundation have minimum standards for the student to receive funding. Please see the Scholarship Program Academic Standards Policy. Most awards are divided into equal parts over three academic quarters (Fall,Winter and Spring) unless specified differently at the time of the award. Each quarter’s award is dependent on the academic success of the student during the prior quarter. Certain scholarships may have standards unique to it as stated in the statement of the scholarship’s award criteria
For the 2010-2011 academic year, the entire process can be completed online. This includes completing the application, submitting recommendation letters and submitting the required essay(s). A Scholarship Kick Off day will provide assistance in completing the online application process and will be held on January 11, any time between 9am-6pm in the Public Service Building, Rooms 212/213. Assistance in writing the essay portion of the application process can be received by contacting the Learning Center at Science Building, Room 151, or by calling (419) 995-8039. Applications are to be completed by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 12, 2010.
